Firm bottoms on old men; and the problem with killing cops...

i'm still dealing with the last episode i watched of Dexter. I was frozen on my sectional, riveted, wanting to scream at Dexter 'kill Doakes' but at the same time loving that Doakes is really just another less serial version of Dexter.

And then there was that bum. Don't pretend you didn't see the old guys bottom dash out of the bed and the sly smile that to me almost looked real. Yep i had the same smile on my face. My husband said, 'he looks fit." and i thought oh my god it's a young guy bum on an old guy demeanor. He doesn't really look super old but i just wasn't ready to see his ass yet. I wouldn't mind seeing Dexter's or Doakes, - have they shown their bottoms and i missed it???

Anyway - as far as i can see there's no out here. Dexter has to kill Doakes or he's toast, and Debra is going to fall for this firm butted dad figure just in time to have it fuck up her entire life. Poor thing all she wants is a good shag and someone to hold.

Here's what i want to happen - someone else takes the fall for Dexter, somehow, someway and Dexter will have to stop killing and deal with Lila as the ex nightmare every other non killer guy lives to regret - because we all know girls like that are a frigging nightmare to get rid of.

Or the alternative happy ending would be Debra hates Lundy as he arrests and puts her brother on death row, but she meets his son who happens to be around her age and they hook up and his bum is even nicer - perhaps along with the firmness he might have a tan....

I'm almost scared to watch the next episode i've PVRed because i don't know if i can deal with it and then there is the fear of december 18th. finale night which means

NO CALIFORNICATION

you can only watch the Layer Cake so many times before you have to let go.....
